At Nurtured Space Psychotherapy, I provide a safe, nurturing environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and life experiences in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. My goal is to guide you towards healing, self-discovery, and personal growth, all while helping you navigate the challenges that arise in different seasons of life. I work with people facing issues such as anxiety, trauma, and depression, and motherhood challenges —always with a focus on compassionate care and tailored solutions.
I offer a personalized and flexible approach to therapy, tailored to your specific needs. I believe that each person’s experience is unique, and therapy should honor that. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A powerful tool for resolving trauma, reducing anxiety, and breaking free from patterns that are no longer serving you.
Internal Family Systems: A compassionate approach to healing that helps you connect with different parts of yourself, allowing you to integrate and heal past wounds.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: An evidence-based practice that helps you recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety and depression.
Mindfulness and Psychodynamic Approaches: Supporting you in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and insight into long-standing challenges.
My practice is especially suited for women facing challenges related to anxiety, trauma, motherhood, fertility struggles, identity, and life transitions. I also offer insights on reparenting, focusing on the mental well-being of both mothers and their children. Together, we can create lasting shifts that allow you to move through life with greater clarity and peace.
Hi, I’m Gabrielle Masih, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping women navigate life’s most challenging transitions. I earned my MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2016 and have since devoted my career to supporting individuals, particularly in the anti-trafficking field. From my early days counseling women impacted by trauma to my current work in private practice, I remain deeply committed to empowering people to reclaim their lives, rediscover their strength, and find peace along their path.
